#MUNIonThis: What are our brain’s defaults, and how might we build good brain muscles to mindfully overcome them? How can we get manage self-defeating thoughts, creative blocks, and brain hyperactivity in order to focus, center ourselves and put our best, most meaningful work out there?
We’ll hear some thoughts from an interdisciplinary set of guests including:
JP CUISON Associate creative director at Publicis JimenezBasic; artist; brain hacker JP graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Major in Visual Communication from the University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts. As a creative in the Philippine advertising scene, he has been a two-time Philippine representative to the Cannes Young Lions International Advertising Festival. He also pursues projects and artworks seen in publications such as Rogue Magazine, Pulp Magazine, The Philippine Daily Inquirer, Sunday Inquirer Magazine, and Adobo Magazine.
DR. SEANN TAN-MANSUKHANI Clinical psychologist; DLSU professor; mindfulness advocate Seann teaches psychology in De La Salle University. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Ateneo de Manila University. She is a licensed psychologist and mindful therapist to her counseling and psychotherapy clients, and aspires to build a disciplined meditation practice.
GOV DASWANI Brand strategist; entrepreneur; educator; mindset design proponent Gov is a former Professor of Creative Communications, and a part-time Business Process Startup coach at the University of Asia Pacific. He provides rigorous Mindset Design through The Curious Project, a grassroots movement geared towards open learning. He is also the Founder and Creative Director of leading newborn apparel brand, Beginnings Baby.
